Visto che non si vive di solo podcast Beatbank, mi pare il caso di segnalare due interessantissimi mixati pubblicati per il download aggratise ultimamente: il primo è del nostro ospite del mese scorso, Dustin Zahn, che ha registrato ben 2 ore e mezza di mixato eclettico come lui sa fare...in sostanza il mixato è - parole di Dustin stesso - "everything that needs to be said in one night of music into a couple hours. From bangin' stuff to housey stuff, to fluffy stuff, it's all stuffy in here."
Non incollo la tracklist perchè è lunghissima (56 tracce!), ma solo il link al myspace blog di Dustin da cui scegliere se scaricare il megamp3 intero o lo zip coi 2 mp3 di lunghezza cd-friendly.
Secondo mixato da scaricare è di un altro artista che mi piace un sacco anche se non è (ancora) mai venuto ospite da noi, Donnacha Costello: normalmente suona live, per cui un dj set suo è un evento abbastanza raro, dovuto al fatto che "Although I really enjoy playing live, there is
a sense in which I envy Djs. If a DJ wants to play new material, there is always
plenty to choose from. If I want to play new material, I have to make it myself".
